资源简介:
Methods and Materials: 100 females doing high ponytail were engaged for the study. From all the participated females informed consent was taken. Algometer was used to measure the pain pressure threshold of trigger point and for scoring pain NPRS was taken. TrPs were examined on the basis of criteria given by Simmons and travel. Data Analysis: The Analysis of the collected data was done by using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS, Version 20.0). Kolmogorov- Smirnov Test was applied to analyse the normality of data. Data was not normally distributed so non parametric test was applied. Spearman Rho correlation coefficient was used to correlate the variables. Result: Active TrPs were most prevalent in the left upper trapezius muscle (32%) and least in the left suboccipital muscle (20%) whereas in the other muscle values percent are 26% in right upper trapezius and 22% in right suboccipital. The TrPs in muscles shows negatively co-relation with NPRS.
