Temporal Dynamics of Oropharyngeal Microbiome among SARS-CoV-2 patients reveals continued dysbiosis even after Viral Clearance. The main crux of our study is to make a longitudinal comparison of the oropharyngeal microbiome of 20 SARS-CoV-2 patients comparing them with a group of 10 healthy controls. We hypothesized that the oropharyngeal microbiome being a good representative of lung microbiota, would be an indicator of SARS-CoV2-associated microbial dysbiosis in the system. The patient's samples were collected at three time points, with a 15 days interval; over a period of 30 days.
