Transcriptome analysis of capecitabine treatment in different colorectal cancer cell lines

Capecitabine (CAP) is a prodrug that is absorbed through the intestine and converted by the liver into the active drug 5-FU. Despite the advantages of CAP in clinical treatment, its long-term use can cause the formation of drug resistance, which greatly limits its clinical application prospects. Our present study analyzed the transcriptome profile of capecitabine on different colorectal cancer cell lines, including resistance and sensitive cell lines.
