TRiPoD_human_TCR

This Bioproject focuses on the characterization of human T cell receptor (TCR) repertoires across multiple tissues, immune cell subsets and developmental stages in organ donors. High-throughput samples are obtained from peripheral blood and solid organs and include sorted T cell populations from thymus, spleen, mesenteric lymph nodes, pancreatic lymph nodes and related lymphoid tissues. T cell subsets are defined by activation and differentiation state, and comprise multiple CD4+ and CD8+ populations. Sequencing data are organized by tissue of origin. Initial data releases focus on thymus samples, with additional lymphoid tissues to be added in subsequent submissions. These data provide a reference resource for human T cell biology in steady-state conditions and complement the objectives of the TRiPoD project by informing how tissue localization, thymic selection and host factors jointly shape regulatory and conventional TCR repertoires in humans.
