Deposits from the seepage area of the seamount and enriched cultures of TBP
收藏资源简介:
This study focused on the cold seep columnal sediments in the South China Sea. Through anaerobic enrichment culture using 2,4,6-tribromophenol (TBP), which is a halogenated pollutant as the sole electron acceptor, microbial enrichment cultures with reductive dehalogenation functions were obtained from four different depth layers. The project aimed to systematically analyze the microbial community structure, metabolic functions, and key reductive dehalogenase genes (rdhA) of these enrichment cultures using metagenomic methods. This would help identify key microbial groups with dehalogenation potential, providing genetic resources and theoretical basis for the development of biological remediation technologies for halogenated organic pollutants.
