Data for: Childhood Trauma and Type D Personality: The Endocrine and Cardiovascular Effects on Stress Reactivity

Both exaggerated and
blunted cardiovascular stress reactivity have been related to health problems.
Early life experiences and the personality traits which can be respectively
considered as environmental and inherent factors affect endocrine and
cardiovascular stress responses but the observed directions of effect have been
different in the terms of exaggeration and blunting response. This study aims
to compare the endocrine and cardiovascular reactions against acute laboratory
stress regarding childhood traumas and type D personality in a sample of 62
healthy university male students.
