This database is a collection of diamond dissolution experiments conducted by research team of Prof. Yana Fedortchouk at the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada. The database describes various dissolution textures on diamonds and the conditions at which these textures were produced in experiments. It contains images of diamonds before and after the experiments, kinetics of diamond dissolution, and Atomic Force Microscopy measurements of trigonal etch pits on diamond faces.
