Decoupling of runoff and soil moisture from precipitation under climate change and permafrost degradation on the northeastern Tibetan Plateau

This dataset includes precipitation input data and model simulation outputs during the historical period (1960–2024) and the future period (2025–2100) in the Source Region of the Yellow River. For the future period, data are provided separately under three scenarios (SSP1-2.6, SSP2-4.5, SSP5-8.5) based on the mean value of corresponding Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP6) models. The dataset include precipitation, evapotranspiration, runoff, permafrost area, permafrost active layer thickness (ALT), and soil moisture within 1-m depth below the ground surface.
