The datasets presents the preliminary testing and technical characterisation of the laboratory versions of the HyperProbe system, named HyperProbe1 and HyperProbe1.1. These procedures include characterisation of (1) its spectral power emission, (2) spectral resolution, (3) image quality parameters such as spatial resolution, field of view (FOV) , contrast, signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), as well as (4) its temporal resolution.
