Development and validity evaluation of an electronic device use questionnaire in Australian and United Kingdom adults

Dataset contains demographic and daily hours of electronic device use data of healthy Australian and United Kingdom adults. Demographic data includes participant age, gender, physical activity levels, height, weight, and country of residence. Electronic device use data was collected via 24-hour electronic device use diaries and the Electronic Device Use Questionnaire (EDUQ). Participants completed up to eight 24-hour electronic device use diaries, three EDUQs via online survey platforms. To determine the validity of the EDUQ, daily hours of electronic device use from the EDUQ was compared against intake from the 24-hour electronic device use diaries using a Bland-Altman plot analysis.
