Data underlying the publication "Rapid change of friction causes the illusion of touching a receding surface"

The dataset contains the processed supporting data for the publication entitled "Rapid change of friction causes the illusion of touching a receding surface" under review in Royal Society Interface. In this paper, we elucidate the effects of changes in the frictional properties during an initial contact. The raw data include images of the participants' fingerprints, which are sensitive, so they will be available only upon request. To know more about each file, please read the README file.
