<b>Ornithinibacillus liuyingii</b><b>sp. nov.: a novel multidrug-resistant and potentially pathogenic bacterium isolated from</b><b>Apodemus chevrieri</b><b>lung tissue</b>

A novel negative bacterium Ornithinibacillus liuyingii sp. nov.(strain 27F3) was isolated isolated from lung tissue of Apodemus chevrieri and subjected to polyphasic taxonomy. 16S rRNA phylogeny (Neighbor-Joining / Maximum - Likelihood), whole-genome sequencing (ANI/dDDH), phenotypic assays (Gram staining, Biolog/API systems), chemotaxonomic profiling (fatty acids by GC-MS, polar lipids by 2D-TLC, quinones by HPLC), and functional annotation (CARD, KEGG, COG, VFDB, PHI, NR databases).
