A Standard Data Model for Representing Whole Rock Geochemical Data of Spodumene Pegmatites

This collection includes a standard data model and an Excel template for representing whole-rock samples and their geochemical data of mineralised spodumene pegmatites. The data model has been implemented in PostgreSQL v13, a relational database system. The dump file comprises SQL statements which can be executed to reproduce the original database table definitions and their relations. The template provides common structures to streamline data and metadata entry. These components are crucial for compiling diverse whole-rock geochemical data from different sources, such as existing literature and projects in CSIRO Mineral Resources, into a global database. This database can then be used for comparison studies and exploratory analysis.
