Microscopic images and whole plant from brazilian plant specie Ctenanthe oppenheimiana; leaves of purple abaxial surface, with magnificent green stomata contrasting with the purple color. Cell walls supposedly green at pavement cells . These plants are all found in the gardens of the University of São Paulo, São Carlos in the Year of 2017, at the approximate geographical coordinates of 22 ° 00'24.3 \"S 47 ° 53'41.8\" W. One variety with an interesting color morphism are shown.
