Gynaecological Brachytherapy-based Applicator Segmentation Dataset

CT-scan data for guided treatment planning in intracavitary brachytherapy. In order to undergo these CT scans, the patients usually lay supine on a flat couch. In order to prevent rotation of the applicator during transfer, the orientation of the applicator is usually cross-checked with manual marking on the patient. Both half and full ovoids are present, and the tandem length ranges from 4 to 6 cm. 1.5% is the thickness of the slice. The entire applicator was scanned. Before being uploaded, the images were carefully de-identified and are mostly in DICOM format. Therefore, every patient demographic information—including name, address, and hospital registration number—from the patient data—that is, the image metadata from the DICOM header—has been successfully removed.
