A fully automatic mini weather station is deployed to conduct real-time monitoring of air temperature, humidity and wind speed across various farmlands in Chongqing, with real-time data uploaded daily. The reference crop evapotranspiration (ET0) is calculated via analysis, providing data support for farmland water surplus and deficit analysis, guiding scientific farmland irrigation and drainage, and thus improving crop yield and quality.
1. Real-time monitoring and daily data upload: Fully automatic mini weather stations perform real-time monitoring of air temperature, humidity and wind speed at various farmlands in Chongqing every half hour per day, and upload the real-time data on a daily basis.
2. Data processing: Collected raw data is subjected to deduplication, merging, regional classification and statistical processing. The following parameters are calculated: daily agricultural net solar radiation (W/m²), air temperature (℃), wind speed (m/s), saturated vapor pressure (Pa), ambient humidity (%rh), atmospheric pressure slope and air humidity. The reference crop evapotranspiration ET0 is then computed using the following formula based on these parameters:
