A fecal-derived ex vivo microbial community was treated with two bacteriocins (HGM-HP1 and HGM-HP17) and two controls (DMSO and vancomycin) over six days, with culture mixtures undergoing 1:100 dilution passages and repeated treatments at days 0, 2 and 4. Shotgun metagenomic sequencing was performed on samples collected at three timepoints (days 2, 4, and 6).
