rhizosphere microbiome in wild rice (Oryza rufipogon Griff.) and Leersia hexandra Swartz

Experiment was conducted in Guangdong and Hainan provinces in south China (representing different regions), in each province two wild rice reserves (representing different soils) were selected, and in each reserve rhizospheric soils of wild rice and Leersia hexandra Swartz (representing different plants) were sampled to compare the differences in rhizosphere microbiome. With this experiment, our aims are: 1) to compare the extent of effects of different plants, soils and geographical locations on rhizosphere microbiome, and 2) to make clear whether the effects of plant on rhizosphere microbiome can be observed across environmental shifts in large regional scale.
