Vaginal tissue Tregs acquire a inflammatory cytokine-dependent, infection-specific phenotype after local infection with HSV-2 CD4+ FoxP3+ Tregs were isolated from the draining lymph nodes and vaginal tissue of FoxP3GFP mice +/- HSV-2 infection.
