Metagenome-Assembled Genomes from Intertidal Macroalgae on the Western Coast of India

This project focuses on recovering metagenome-assembled genomes (MAGs) from microbial communities associated with intertidal macroalgae collected from the western coast of India. These samples harbor diverse microbial taxa, including bacteria and archaea, which play key roles in nutrient cycling, macroalgal health, and ecosystem stability in the intertidal zone. The project aims to provide insights into the taxonomic and functional diversity of these microbial consortia, contributing to our understanding of marine microbiomes in dynamic coastal environments.
