Movie S1 - The Chromosomal Passenger Complex and a Mitotic Kinesin Interact with the Tousled-Like Kinase in Trypanosomes to Regulate Mitosis and Cytokinesis

Translocalization of TbCPC1-EYFP in live cell imaged by video fluorescence microscopy. Procyclic cell stably expressing the enhanced yellow fluorescent protein (EYFP) tagged TbCPC1 (green) was imaged during mitosis-cytokinesis. Time-lapse images of individual cells were acquired with a 6D High Throughput Microscope at the Nikon Imaging Center at UCSF (http://nic.ucsf.edu/6D.html). The images were taken at 5 to 8 multi-points with a fixed time interval (10 min). An auto-focusing program using DIC images was installed that produces images with Z-stacks at ?1, 0 and +1 ��m from the auto-focused plane. DNA was stained with Hoechst DNA dye (red), and the fluorescence and phase images were merged. (0.64 MB MOV)
