Replication Data and Analysis Code for State- and Regime-Dependent Operational Risk in Container Ports

This repository provides the supporting datasets, reproducible Python scripts, and analytical outputs associated with the manuscript entitled “State- and Regime-Dependent Operational Risk in Container Ports: Queue Persistence and Early-Warning Thresholds.” The dataset is based on publicly available maritime supply chain indicators published by the U.S. Bureau of Transportation Statistics (BTS). The accompanying materials support the analysis of container-port congestion, queue persistence, structural breaks, regime-dependent operational dynamics, and early-warning thresholds. The repository includes data processing procedures, calendar-aligned time-series analyses, regression and count-data models, threshold optimization, temporal validation, benchmark comparisons, bootstrap-based robustness assessments, and Markov transition analyses. The materials are provided to facilitate methodological transparency, independent verification, and reproducibility of the reported findings.
