Growth Rate, Carbon Fixation Rate, and Photosynthetic Parameters in the Western Tropical North Atlantic

This dataset contains the processed data supporting the manuscript entitled "Growth Rate, Carbon Fixation Rate, and Photosynthetic Parameters in the Western Tropical North Atlantic." The dataset includes measurements of carbon fixation rates derived from ^13C-bicarbonate incubation experiments, particulate organic carbon (POC) concentrations, stable carbon isotope measurements, photosynthetic parameters (Vmax, Pmax, Ik), and associated environmental variables used in the analyses. Samples were collected during three oceanographic cruises in the Amazon River plume region of the Western Tropical North Atlantic: R/V Knorr KN197-08 (May–June 2010), R/V Melville MV1110 (September–October 2011), and R/V Atlantis AT21-04 (July 2012). The dataset contains processed values used to reproduce the analyses presented in the manuscript and does not include the complete original cruise datasets, which are publicly available through the Biological and Chemical Oceanography Data Management Office (BCO-DMO).
