MotionSense

This dataset is named MotionSense. It contains data collected from 24 participants, who wore an inertial measurement unit (IMU) in their front pants pocket. Daily activities such as walking, jogging and sitting were recorded at a sampling rate of 50 Hz. Additionally, the dataset includes individual characteristics of the participants including age, height, weight and gender, which enables the analysis of the impact of these characteristics on human activity recognition (HAR). The targeted task of this dataset is human activity recognition.
