Experimental Design (Pantrap color preference)

We placed 12 pantraps of alternative colors (Yellow, Blue and White) in three rows in grasslands of york university. The data was collected on October 27th 2014 at 3 pm to 5 pm in York university Keele campus. The temperature was 10 degreees celcius and the weather was cloudy. The environment around was filled with tall grasss (20cm-60cm long), golden rods, thistle and the ground was damp. Bahar and farnaz placed 12 pantraps (70 cm apart) of alternating colors in each lane for 3 rows which each row was 1 m apart form the other row. Then Daniel half filled the pantraps with soapy water. After 2 hours we as a group counted the total macroinvertebrates in each pantrap and also tooke note of different types. Tiffanie and Farnaz recorded the data.
