Genetic Association Study of SDR16C5, PLAG1, and ADCY4 Polymorphisms with Body Size Traits in Bamei Pigs (Sus scrofa) from Qinghai Province, China

Based on the whole genome resequencing technology of the Bamei pig, a structural variation map of the Bamei pig genome was drawn, and the key genes and molecular markers affecting its important economic traits such as reproduction, meat quality, and stress resistance were systematically excavated, providing a clear genetic background for its subsequent germplasm resource mining and supporting line breeding, and providing support for the next step in the creation of Qinghai Province's characteristic and excellent local pig brand.
