Table poléométrique - complete data set

Data set from the "table poléométrique" made in 1782 by Charles de Fourcroy. It is a data set where 218 towns all around the world are described from a morphology point of view (urban areas). However the perspective particulary focus on France territory (130 records). Data set is based on annex of the article published by François de Dainville in Population (Grandeur et population des villes au XVIIIe siècle, Population, 1958, 13(3), pp. 459-480). This work takes place within a PhD in archaeology and geography - UMR 8504 Géographie-cités, Université Paris I - Panthéon-Sorbonne.
