Groundwater Upwelling

资源简介:
Upwelling is part of a water cycle where warmer surface water is pushed away from an area (usually due to winds and current), allowing colder (often nutrient rich) deep water to rise up and replace it. On the coast, this process is what helps create estuaries which allow sea life to thrive. This pdf map visualizes the approximate area of upwelling that occurs in the City of Long Beach.
