Dataset for "Time-Use Change to Building-in-Use Performance: Behaviour–Space Mismatch and Flexible Housing in South Korea's Compact Dwellings"

This dataset supports the manuscript entitled “Time-Use Change to Building-in-Use Performance: Behaviour–Space Mismatch and Flexible Housing in South Korea’s Compact Dwellings.” It contains processed national time-use data derived from KOSIS statistics for 1999–2024 and anonymized survey data collected from 500 urban residents in South Korea. The dataset was used to examine changes in in-home activities, construct the Behaviour–Space Mismatch Index (BSMI), analyze flexible-housing demand, and identify resident clusters with different spatial needs and technology acceptance patterns.
