Ecological factors influencing the breeding performance of great tits (Parus major) in artificial nest boxes

The percentage of shrub, downed tree, and grass cover was calculated to examine habitat factors. Clutch size, hatching success, and fledgling success were selected as dependent variables. Recorded locations of nest boxes were used to estimate the distance from roads.
