SNP genotype data for Spanish native chicken breeds — high-density array (Axiom Chicken Genotyping Array)

This dataset contains high-density SNP genotype data for 154 individuals belonging to 7 Spanish native chicken breeds: Andaluza Azul and its varieties (ANAZ: Andaluza Azul, Andaluza Azul Británica, Andaluza Azul Ceniza; n=24), Canaria (CAN, n=24), Combatiente Español (COM, n=18), Mallorquina (MAL, n=24), Utrerana Franciscana (UTRF, n=24), Catalana/Prat (CAT, n=20) and Red Villafranquina (RVF, n=20). Samples were genotyped with the Axiom® Chicken Genotyping Array (Affymetrix, 600K). After quality control, 504,121 SNPs across autosomes 1–28 of the Gallus gallus genome (assembly GRCg6a) were retained. Files are provided in PLINK format (.ped, .map). These data were used to assess genomic diversity, population structure, runs of homozygosity (ROH), and effective population size (Ne). Associated manuscript: Saleh et al.
