Cricket and Locust Frass as Organic Fertilizers: Microbial Composition, Nutrient Availability, and Effects on Seedling Growth

This project focuses on sequencing and analyzing bacterial genomes from environmental samples to investigate microbial diversity, particularly those with plant growth-promoting microorganism (PGPM) traits. These microorganisms play biological roles related to organic fertilizers derived from the frass of Gryllus bimaculatus, Gryllus testaceus, Patanga succincta, and Acheta domesticus.
