Piglet ileum 16S rRNA gene amplicons under the effect of L-glutamine and antibiotics postweaning and transport.

The objective of the study focuses on analyzing the ileum microbiota community of weaned and transport piglets fed with L-glutamine and antibiotics and how the ileal microbiome might look like after treatment withdrawal. For the ileal microbiome analysis, the 16S rRNA gene was amplified and sequenced using Illumina MiSeq Sequencer.
