Soft-masked genome, repeat annotation, and gene annotation of the catfish Pseudexostoma brachysoma

Derived genome resources for the chromosome-level assembly of the catfish Pseudexostoma brachysoma (Siluriformes: Sisoridae), accompanying the associated Data Descriptor. Contents Soft-masked genome (RepeatMasker; repeats in lowercase): Pseudexostoma_brachysoma_normalized.fa.masked.gz Repeat annotation: RepeatMasker .out and GFF (.out.gff) — coordinates and repeat-family names. Gene annotation (BRAKER4, etp mode): structural GFF3/GTF, predicted proteins and coding sequences, run report, hints, and supporting tables. MD5SUMS.txt — MD5 checksums for every file in this record. Note on licensing: the species repeat library used for masking incorporates RepBase consensus sequences and is therefore not redistributed; the annotation files here contain coordinates and family names only, not library sequence.
