A GrgA-Euo-HrcA transcriptional regulatory network controls the growth and development of the obligate intracellular bacterium Chlamydia

Effects of overexpression of Chlamydia trachomatis transcription factors GrgA, Euo and HrcA on the chlamydial transcriptome were determined. Mouse L929 cells were infected with Chlamydia trachomatis transformed with the transcription factors. Infected cells were cultured in medium with or without anhydrotetracycline, which induces overexpression of transcription factors. Total RNAs were extracted and sequenced .
