Measurement data for the paper SURFACE LEVEL EFFECTS OF FOREST FIRE ON NORWAY SPRUCE AND SCOTS PINE WOOD: INSIGHTS FROM MICROINDENTATION
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains Raw measurement data for FTIR DRIFT spectra of pine and spruce wood that was exposed to a forest fire and FTIR DRIFT spectra of unexposed control samples of pine and spruce wood (in the FTIR_Ganguly_zip folder and there in the FTIR_spectra_PerkinElmer subfolder), and these spectra, exported into Excel format files (in the subfolder FTIR_spectra_Excell). In the Excel file "Ganguly_HIT&EIT" there are average HIT and EIT values of spruce and pine wood of different tissues (early wood, late wood, from heartwood, sapwood and undifferentiated stem parts). These data were used to prepare the paper "SURFACE LEVEL EFFECTS OF FOREST FIRE ON NORWAY SPRUCE AND SCOTS PINE WOOD: INSIGHTS FROM MICROINDENTATION" by Sauradipta Ganguly, Luka Albreht, Miha Humar, Jaka Levanič, Veikko Möttönen, Erkki Verkasalo, Marko Petrič". It will be submitted to the Bulgarian journal Inno science journal, Innovation in Woodworking Industry and Engineering Design. The research will be presented at the conference Inno, International Scientific and Technical Conference, 8-10 October 2026, Park Hotel Vitosha, Sofia, Bulgaria. In addition to funding by ARIS and National Resources Institute Finland, this work was funded also by Puumiesten Ammattikasvatussäätiö (The Foundation for Finnish Wood Professionals’ Education), projectWood properties and product potential of forest fire damaged timber in wood product uses, project no. 41007-00246600.
