资源简介:

This archive contains the data used for the paper "Comparing Infrared and Webcam Eye Tracking for User Behavior Mining in Office Environment". It includes the raw recordings, the preprocessed and postprocessed data derived from those recordings, and the scenario definitions used in the experimental tasks. Folder structure 1) raw_data/This folder contains the original raw recordings collected for each study condition. The data are organized by scenario family corresponding to the subresearch question and participant/session.- SQ1_static_form/ : static form-density tasks (low and high density)- SQ2_alternance/ : alternating button-selection task- SQ3_position/ : distance-based position tasks (50 cm, 70 cm, 90 cm)- SQ4_rpm/ : RPM-related tasks Inside each scenario folder, data are grouped by participant/session ( S1, S2, ... S10) and by device/software branch (Infrared Device Tobii Spark Pro and Webcam-based WebGazer.js). Each branch contains the original log files and associated extracted resources from the experiment. 2) preprocessed_data/This folder contains every gaze fixation corresponding to the user action. These files were cleaned from the raw recordings, but they are not yet the final analysis-ready outputs. 3) postprocessed_data/This folder contains the final analysis-ready CSV files used in the study. They are organized by participant/session and contain the aggregated features (e.g., match fixations) required for the metrics presented in the paper and the statistical analysis 4) test_cases_scenarios/This folder contains the scenarios of the different experimental test cases. These files document the structure of the tasks used in the study and help reproduce the experimental setup. File types- CSV files: event logs, processed gaze summaries, and derived metrics.- JSON files: configuration or supporting metadata where available.- ZIP files: original compressed raw experiment bundles, if present in the raw_data tree. How the data are used- raw_data/ supports replication of the original extraction and preprocessing steps.- preprocessed_data/ supports intermediate processing checks and validation.- postprocessed_data/ is the main input for the statistical analysis and plotting scripts.- test_cases_scenarios/ documents the experimental conditions used for each research question. Ethics Approval: The experimental protocol was conducted in accordance with the ethical standards of the University of Seville. The study design was reviewed to ensure the protection of participants' rights and safety in accordance with the institutional guidelines for human subjects research. Informed Consent: All participants were fully briefed on the study's objectives and the nature of the eye-tracking data being recorded (both infrared and webcam-based). Written informed consent was obtained from every participant before the start of the experimental sessions. Data Protection: Data collection and processing were performed in compliance with the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) EU 2016/679, ensuring the right to privacy and the non-traceability of personal identities. Data cleaning and anonymization- Sensitive textual content in typed text fields has been anonymized.- Screenshot images have been removed from the extracted raw data where applicable.- The dataset is intended for reproducibility and secondary analysis, while protecting participant privacy. Notes- The study uses two input methods: an infrared-based eye tracker (Tobii Pro Spark) and a webcam-based tracker (WebGazer.js).- The dataset includes recordings from 10 participants (S1-S10).- Scenario names correspond to the research sub-questions in the manuscript.
