Differential Lagged and Cumulative Effects of Climatic Factors on Diverse Vegetation Types across Topographic Gradients in China

This dataset contains all spatial and statistical data used in this study. It includes unified basic spatial raster data and analytical results, part of which corresponds to Chapter 3 of the thesis. Basic raster data: nationwide DEM, slope, aspect, topographic position index and vegetation type maps. 1. Subchapter 3.2 Topographic Effects on Vegetation NDVI in China Folder storing Excel statistical tables for exploring terrain-driven vegetation spatial differentiation. 2. Subchapter 3.3 Attribution Analysis of Vegetation NDVI Change Independent Excel file with quantitative attribution results of NDVI driving factors. 3. Subchapter 3.4 Lagged and Cumulative Responses of Vegetation to Climate Factors Folder storing calculation results of lag and cumulative effects between NDVI and climatic factors for different vegetation types. All data match the 1982–2024 long-term NDVI time series and can support vegetation dynamics and terrain-climate-vegetation coupling research.
