Modbam file of African swine fever virus nanopore sequencing data

This repository provides modBAM files profiling the DNA epigenetic modifications of HK_NT_202103, the first African swine fever virus (ASFV) strain isolated in Hong Kong. Sequencing was conducted using Oxford Nanopore Technologies (ONT) R10.4.1. Basecalling and modification calling (including models for 5mC, 5hmC, 4mC, and 6mA) were performed using Dorado. To accurately identify modifications, two sequencing approaches were utilized: whole genome sequencing (WGS) to preserve native DNA modifications, and whole genome amplification (WGA) to generate an unmodified baseline control.
