This model represents an archaeological site in Mt. Pleasant, Maryland, U.S. The site is the lower structure of a 19th century era "privvy" or commonly known today as an outhouse. This is an important archeaological feature, as not only were privvies used for going to the restroom, but also served as a place to dispose of everyday items.
