Traffic Counts - Vehicle Classification

Tabular data containing vehicle classification traffic count data by station, time of day, day of week, and state. To create the summary vehicle classification file, the FHWA truck classes are combined into single-unit trucks and combined trucks. Then for each resulting class, the data is summed by time-of-day. Counts are displayed as averages of station counts divided by number of unique days in the dataset per station. Weekday and weekend values are calculated independently from each other. Individual files in this csv collection can be joined to this CountStations layer using the "Station" field. The vehicle classification data comes from Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration, Virginia Department of Transportation, and the District Department of Transportation. Time of Day is broken down as: AM (6:00 AM - 9:00 AM) Mid Day (9:00 AM - 3:00 PM) PM (3:00 PM - 7:00 PM) Night (After 7:00 PM) Vehicle Types: Motorcycles (Class 1) Passenger cars (Class 2) Pickups & Panel Vans (Class 3) Buses (Class 4) Single Unit Trucks (Class 5-7) Multi-Unit Trucks (8-13)本数据集为表格格式数据，包含按站点、日间时段、星期几及州份划分的车辆分类交通流量计数数据。为生成汇总车辆分类文件，美国联邦公路管理局（Federal Highway Administration, FHWA）定义的卡车类别被合并为单单元卡车（single-unit trucks）与多单元组合卡车（combined trucks）两类；随后针对合并后的每一类车辆，按日间时段对数据进行求和汇总。流量计数以各站点日均流量形式呈现，计算方式为该站点总计数除以数据集中对应站点的独立天数总数。工作日与周末的流量值分别独立计算。可通过"Station"（站点）字段，将该CSV数据集内的单个文件与CountStations图层进行关联拼接。本车辆分类数据来源于马里兰州交通运输部州公路管理局（Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration）、弗吉尼亚州交通运输部（Virginia Department of Transportation）以及华盛顿哥伦比亚特区交通运输局（District Department of Transportation）。日间时段划分为：早高峰（AM时段，6:00-9:00）、午间时段（Mid Day，9:00-15:00）、晚高峰（PM时段，15:00-19:00）以及夜间时段（Night，19:00之后）。车辆类型包括：摩托车（Class 1）、乘用车（Class 2）、皮卡及厢式货车（Class 3）、客车（Class 4）、单单元卡车（Class 5-7）以及多单元卡车（Class 8-13）。
