Indian Cities Weather & Air Quality Dataset

This dataset contains current weather, air quality, wind, and astronomical information for multiple Indian cities. The data was collected using the Weatherstack API and is provided in a clean CSV format.

Each row represents a single snapshot of weather conditions for one city. The dataset includes cities from different Indian states, covering metro cities as well as tier-2 and tier-3 cities. Latitude and longitude are included to support map-based and geospatial analysis.

The dataset contains the following information:

City name, latitude, and longitude

Current temperature and weather condition code

Sunrise, sunset, moonrise, and moonset times

Air quality indicators such as CO, NO₂, O₃, SO₂, PM2.5, and PM10

Atmospheric conditions including wind speed and direction, pressure, precipitation, humidity, cloud cover, “feels like” temperature, UV index, and visibility

This dataset can be used for exploratory data analysis, data visualization, machine learning experiments, weather trend analysis, air pollution monitoring, and studying relationships between weather and air quality.

The data is sourced from the Weatherstack API and collected programmatically using Python. The file is provided in CSV format, UTF-8 encoded, with no extra or missing columns.

Note: The data represents a snapshot in time and does not include historical trends. Update frequency may be limited due to free API constraints. The dataset is intended for educational and research purposes.
