This conceptual research proposes a novel nanocarrier-based targeted therapy for Acute Myelogenous Leukemia (AML). The designed nanoparticle consists of four main layers: a stealth PEG layer for immune evasion, a ligand layer targeting CD123 markers, a pH-sensitive PLGA layer for controlled release, and a drug-loaded core containing cytarabine. The approach aims to selectively reach leukemic stem cells (LSCs) while minimizing damage to healthy tissues. The proposed system is theoretical due to the unavailability of materials in Iraq but is designed for future experimental validation and collaboration.
