Ruminal bacterial and archaeal communities in sheep supplemented with lovastatin

This study analyzed the effects of lovastatin supplementation on rumen bacterial and archaeal communities in Hu sheep using 16S rRNA gene sequencing. These data provide a foundation for understanding the microbial mechanism of lovastatin in regulating rumen fermentation and methane production.
