ASSOCIATIONS BETWEEN ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIODEMOGRAPHIC DATA AND HEPATITIS-A TRANSMISSION IN THE STATE OF PARÁ, BRAZIL

This dataset encompasses sociodemographic, environmental, and epidemiological data that were derived and respectively applied in the manuscript entitled "ASSOCIATIONS BETWEEN ENVIRONMENTAL AND SOCIODEMOGRAPHIC DATA AND HEPATITIS-A TRANSMISSION IN THE STATE OF PARÁ, BRAZIL" - hereafter cited as the referenced manuscript.

# General description of these datasets:

The sociodemographic and epidemiological datasets have no personal information.

The respective datasets were derived for the state of Pará (Brazil), from 01/01/2008 up to 31/12/2017.

All data is aggregated at the municipality level.

# Data access:

The provided dataset is organized in two folders: 1) "Non-normalized"; 2) "Normalized".

The difference between folders is that the data from the second folder (normalized) was derived from the normalization of the second (the original data). This normalization approach was applied to facilitate some statistical analysis and machine learning algorithms applied in the referenced manuscript; and, here the two datasets have been uploaded for easier accessibility and reproducibility.
