Environmental factors, lifestyle, dietary habits and other regional characteristics in different areas may affect the clinical features of patients with liver cirrhosis complicated with infection. However, in Lanzhou, China, there are relatively few studies on the bacterial spectrum, drug resistance patterns and changes in the intestinal microbiota and its metabolites in patients with liver cirrhosis complicated with infection. This study aims to investigate the characteristics of the intestinal microbiota in patients with liver cirrhosis complicated with infection in Lanzhou, China. High-throughput 16S rRNA gene sequencing was used to evaluate the diversity and composition of the intestinal microbiota community. The aim is to provide a scientific basis for the clinical diagnosis, treatment optimization and prognosis assessment of these patients.
