The swelling behaviour of an isotropically compacted sample subjected to water infiltration was investigated. The material used in this study was a mixture of Wyoming MX-80 bentonite (commercially known as WH2 Gelclay) and quartz sand with a respective proportion of 70/30 in dry mass. In order to follow the hydromechanical state of the sample during hydration, the total vertical pressure and the injected water volume were recorded over time. The cell was also equipped with four total radial pressure sensors placed at different heights of the sample. The dataset contains the injected water volume, total vertical pressure and radial pressures over time.
本研究针对经各向同性压实的试样在水浸润条件下的膨胀行为展开了系统探究。本研究所用材料为怀俄明MX-80膨润土(Wyoming MX-80 bentonite,商业名称为WH2 Gelclay)与石英砂的混合物,二者干质量占比为70/30。为追踪试样水化过程中的水力-力学状态,研究过程中持续记录了总竖向压力与注入水量随时间的变化情况。试验舱还配备了四个分别布置在试样不同高度的径向总压力传感器。本数据集包含随时间变化的注入水量、总竖向压力及径向压力数据。
