Determination of instantaneous flow resistance coefficients of oblate ellipsoids at intermediate Reynolds numbers
收藏资源简介:
Data Linked to the Manuscript “Determination of Instantaneous Flow Resistance Coefficients of Oblate Ellipsoids at Intermediate Reynolds Numbers” Authors Santiago Laín Beatove, Carlos Castang, Victor Chéron Corresponding Author slain@uao.edu.co Repository Contents Data/ Contains temporally averaged drag, lift, and hydrodynamic torque coefficients. The .dat files are organized by coefficient and aspect ratio, as indicated in the filenames. Example:Data/Pitch_AR2.5_Reynolds.dat Rows: Orientation angles Columns: Particle Reynolds numbers Each file includes RMS values PythonScript/ Contains the Python scripts used to plot and analyze the correlation results. generalmain.py: Main script that calls the helper modules. Getter.py: Reads the .dat files and returns a dataframe of coefficients for each combination of Reynolds number, aspect ratio, and orientation angle. ManuscriptCorrelation.py: Computes the correlations and plots both DNS and predicted coefficients together. Note:ManuscriptCorrelation.py can also be used to implement the correlations discussed in the manuscript in a Lagrangian solver. SimulationResult/ Includes two animations of the simulation results: Periodic case Aperiodic case As discussed in the manuscript.
