A dataset of soil microstructure features and physicochemical properties for 1968 and climate sequence for 1951-1992 in the Caspian lowland

The dataset contains microphotographs of soil thin sections of light chestnut soils with varying degrees of severity of the saline process located near the Dzhanybek Research Station of the Institute of Forest Science RAS. It contains data on the composition of absorbed bases, the salt composition of soil-water extract, grain size distribution and organic carbon content of these soils. Also this dataset includes weather data, which affected these soils from 1951 to 1992.
