Lutjanus lemniscatus (Darktail Snapper) genome, fLutLem1

The Darktail Snapper (Lutjanus lemniscatus) is found in the Indo-West Pacific, from southern India and Sri Lanka to the Philippines, New Guinea, and Australia. In Australia, it ranges from Shark Bay in Western Australia to at least Cooktown in Queensland, possibly extending south to Noosa. This assembly is based on PacBio HiFi long reads, Dovetail Omni-C libraries and Illumina short reads. Data was generated at the Minderoo OceanOmics Centre at the University of Western Australia and assembled in house using a custom pipeline (https://github.com/MinderooFoundation) that follows Vertebrate Genomes Project workflows (https://vertebrategenomesproject.org/).
